Bridgewater, N.J. (June 8, 2023) – JAG Physical Therapy is one of the fastest growing comprehensive physical and occupational therapy practices providing rehabilitative care to patients and sports teams in over 120 locations across the Northeast. The JAG Physical Therapy team celebrated the opening of their Jackson facility with a ribbon cutting ceremony on May 31. The ceremony featured several speakers including Michael Wylykanowitz, Regional Clinical Director of JAG Physical Therapy, Anthony Canderozzi, President of the Jackson Chamber of Commerce, Jennifer Kuhn, Councilwoman for the Jackson Township local government, Mina Mikhail, Clinical Director of JAG Physical Therapy Jackson.
The Jackson facility will expand JAG Physical Therapy’s presence in New Jersey and will be led by Clinical Director Mina Mikhail, PT, DPT. Some of the services that will be offered at this location include the McKenzie Method, a series of stretches that uses spinal extension in order to resolve tension and centralize and ultimately mitigate or eliminate pain, and Occupational Therapy, which helps people practice new, adaptive ways of doing everyday tasks so that they can accomplish more independently each day.
“We want to be a resource for the community. We want to provide education to local community members. We want to provide injury prevention to local club teams, local schools, or local senior living facilities,” said Michael Wylykanowitz, Regional Clinical Director of JAG Physical Therapy. He continued, “We want to be a resource for rehabilitation. If you need us, we are there for you.”
“We appreciate you being a part of the community and investing in it, and I am excited our philosophies are aligned as being a fabric of the community,” said Anthony Canderozzi, President of the Jackson Chamber of Commerce.
“I look forward to speaking about [the opening of the clinic] at the next council meeting and wish you nothing but success,” shared Jennifer Kuhn, Councilwoman for the Jackson Township local government.
Mina Mikhail, Clinical Director of JAG Physical Therapy Jackson said, “I love speaking at public events and being that educational resource for people. I hope to run into some of you in the community, hopefully not as patients, but if you need it, I'm here.”
