Farida Haroun

PT, DPT

Farida graduated from Brooklyn College with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2010. She then went on to receive a Bachelor’s in Health Science and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Farida has been with JAG PT since September 2015. She is certified in Schroth and Pelvic Floor Level 1. Farida’s favorite type of injury and population to work with is Scoliosis Specific. She also enjoys working with athletes and getting them back to play. Outside of work she enjoys participating in Yoga and Pilates!

Jag One at Avenue T, has given me the confidence and the ability to be active again. Since starting my knee therapy I have played volleyball and gone roller skating! The staff is amazing and friendly.

Happy with my choice! My first time today. Walking distance for me. I hesitated when I saw all the steps to get upstairs given that I have a brace due to knee fracture and weak left arm due to elbow fracture. Decided to try given their 5 star reviews and I am glad I did! I was offered help in getting upstairs and Farida was absolutely amazing and came up with me. Front desk and everyone are very nice! Farida evaluated me minutes later and it was amazing. I am looking forward to going there for my upcoming sessions with Farida.

I had my knee replacement Nov 2 , I had therapy at Ave T in less than a month of therapy i am able to bike, climb and step down stairs with both feet alrernating ,their attention , dedication and professionalism is above and beyond , my surgeon ; Dr. Winiarsky felt so proud .

Wonderful friendly staff. Everyone is helpful and accommodating. Short wait time. Farida and maryam are very pleasant to work with. Clean environment equipment constantly cleaned by assistants. Highly recommend JAG therapy!

I highly recommend Ave. T. Jag one physical therapy. The place is accessible, clean and with complete equipments and supplies . The front desk staff Ms. Elena Is very pleasant and accommodating . My therapist Ms. Helen Li is very nice and very good. She answered all my questions and concerns and was very supportive. Ms. Farida had seen me as well and she’s also very good and very encouraging. All their assistants are pleasant and very helpful and always checking and attending on each patient’s needs. I like this place bec. staff are friendly and knowledgeable , they have complete equipments and supplies needed for the therapy and place is not crowded w pts. for their sessions. Very good customer service.

Physical therapy at Jag in Brooklyn at 1715 Avenue T has given me the ability to perform all usual tasks by my dominant hand again after 2 months of cast followed by fractured right wrist.The therapists have been knowledgeable and helpful. Love Helen's Li deep tissue massage, aggressive stretching and Russian electrical stimulating and Kasim dedicated helpfulness and encouragement. Everyone has been kind and helpful.The whole team is awesome. Very friendly, helpful and professional! I’ve been coming in for my right wrist and I can feel strength and mobility coming back definitely!Thank you soo much!

Very friendly staff and everyone really seems to care about your well-being. It’s clean, well run and never too crowded in the early evenings. I hope this helps my frozen shoulder. I would prefer less exercise on my own and more hands on with the therapist, but everyone seems to get the same amount of time dedicated to them. Highly recommend!

I can’t speak highly enough about Jag One Midwood. My entire family is currently receiving physical therapy here. The office staff, the assistants and the therapists are fabulous. Everyone is working every minute. The assistants are constantly circulating making sure patients are working safely and with proper form. The therapists are super knowledgeable and make sure each patient understands what their issue is as well as what the treatment plan is and what each exercise’s purpose is.As for following COVID-19 protocol the space can sometimes be crowded but the staff is always making sure that people are kept apart and they CONSTANTLY clean EVERYTHING between patients.I highly recommend JAG ONE Midwood!!

I went to this jag one for over a year after two knee surgeries and now I tell anyone who needs physical therapy to go specifically to this jag one. Both Jonathan and Farida made me feel very comfortable and welcome there. They make the exercising less boring and will stand by and guide you if you need help.This was one of the best physical therapy places I’ve ever went to and I definitely recommend 10/10 for anyone who needs pt.
