Matthew is a Board Certified Physical Therapist whom received his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree (DPT) from the CUNY Graduate Center (College of Staten Island Campus) in 2014. Prior to earning his doctoral degree Matthew attended CUNY's Macaulay Honors College where he obtained his Bachelors of Science. Matthew specializes in orthopedic and sports Physical Therapy. He incorporates evidence based practice into the evaluation and treatment of each individual patient while focusing on the body as a whole to optimize recovery. Matthew is also a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and utilizes his training in Kinesio Taping as well as Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) in the care of his patients. Matthew is a member of New York's Chapter of the Sports & Orthopedics sections of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and has also been published in the Academy of Geriatric Physical Therapy. Outside of work Matthew enjoys his free time hiking, cycling, and traveling with his wife and great dane.
